Series: Arknights
Characters/Pairings: Aosta/Doctor
Summary: An alternate take on Aosta makes a wedding outfit for Doctor.
Notes: Based on "Netsu wo Obiru Veil" oneshot manga.
Just as before, one way or another, Aosta makes a wedding outfit for Doctor while never revealing his feelings. But instead of pouring his love by making the best outfit ever, he pours his negative feelings instead. He sews patterns of flowers with bitter symbolism, such as:
- Marigold: Pain and grief.
- Lobelia: Hatred.
- Anemone: Forsaken (love).
- Scabius: Unfortunate love.
- Linaria bipartite: Please notice my love.
- Daffodil: Unrequited love, return my feelings.
- Narcissus: Unrequited love.
- Forget-me-not: Don't forget me.
In Dr. Hana's case, being a flower nut, she obviously knows the meaning of these flowers sewn on her dress/veil. Aosta knows of this as well, but he just can't stop himself from doing it. Instead of being angry or anything though, she smiles at him instead. She loves it and basks in the feeling, being the twisted person she is.
This is probably a stretch because I don't think Aosta is that kind of person, but it's fun to think about.
